Privacy policy

Information we collect

We collect the name, email address, business details, website, brand preferences, job descriptions, offers, photos and videos you provide. We also keep your saved drafts, orders, generated content, revisions, approvals and subscription records. Our systems process technical information such as IP addresses, browser requests and session identifiers to operate the service and prevent misuse. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not readable passwords.

How we use it

We use your information to save your progress, process your subscription, create and review your content, deliver files, provide account access and support, manage billing, and protect the service. Entering an email address does not subscribe you to promotional emails. We may send service messages about your account, payment, order or content delivery.

Your uploads and AI processing

Your job photos, clips, website content and briefs are processed using AI services to analyse the work and generate creative content. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use, or unnecessary personal or sensitive information. Generated content is reviewed before release, but you should also check it before posting. We do not use your private uploads as public marketing examples without your permission.

Service providers and overseas processing

We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments and subscription management, Make for workflow automation, Higgsfield and its generation providers for AI media processing, and Resend for email delivery. These providers receive the information needed for their part of the service. Information may be stored or processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations used by these providers. Their own privacy terms also apply to their services.

Stripe processes your payment card information. Afterworks stores payment and subscription identifiers and status; it does not store your full card number or security code.

Cookies, advertising and email

We use an essential session cookie to keep your account or guest order private and accessible in your browser. We do not currently use Meta advertising pixels or upload your email address to advertising audiences. If we introduce advertising tracking or audience matching, we will explain the collection and use and obtain consent where required before enabling it. We will not treat entering your details to prepare an order as blanket permission for promotional email.

Retention and security

We retain saved drafts, account information, media and order records while they are needed to provide the service, resolve support issues and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact us to request deletion of an unfinished draft or account. Some payment and business records may need to be retained after closure. We use access controls, private media storage and secure connections; no system can guarantee absolute security.

Access, corrections and deletion

You can update available profile details in your Studio. To request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, contact hello@afterworks.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before providing information or changing account ownership. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals under its cancellation terms; it does not automatically delete your account or records.

Privacy concerns

Please email us with the details of any privacy concern so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where applicable.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
